Welcome to our web site.

This site will keep you updated on our travels around Europe in our motor home, The Bounty.

It contains little anecdotes, impressions and images of our trip. This is also the place Freya and Saskia will be posting some of their project work as they progress through the required curriculum whilst we are absent from the UK. Derek also has is own page: Root into Europe Revisited!

And just in case you thought Rainbow Rabbit had retired from Guiding UK for ever, you will find photos of her search for a suitable retirement venue!

All done and dusted and here we are back in good old Blighted! At least the sun is shining!

As our tenants do not appear to have made adequate arrangements find alternative accommodation (12 months clearly not being long enough to plan these things) the girls and I are, today, headed up to Poynton to take up residence with my mum and Derek is heading back to Rugby in Bounty to start work.

Dereks final ruminations on the nature of our European cousins will appear next week, but his page is up to date as far as the ferry crossing back to the UK on the 9th.
